There is no exact launch date for the 15-inch MacBook Air yet. But the upcoming MacBook Air will be launched in “early April,” but given that the production of the displays has already begun, it’s possible that an announcement and pre-orders could happen sooner, citing the analyst, a MacRumors report said. The tech giant regularly hosts a spring event to introduce new products, as seen in the events held in March 2022 and April 2021.

The analyst did not offer additional information about the new model, including whether it would be powered by the current-generation M2 chip or the upcoming M3 chip with a 3nm manufacturing process. But, the upcoming 15-inch MacBook Air display size option would be the biggest and most likely be available alongside the current 13-inch model.

Meanwhile, a recent report said that the tech giant is planning to unveil an Apple M3 MacBook Air and an iMac later this year. The report mentioned that the 15-inch MacBook Air would likely come with an M2 chip, not an M3 chip. According to reports, the Apple M3 chip, which is expected to be released later this year, will have a 15 per cent increase in performance while a 30 per cent increase in power efficiency.
