Apple, Amazon, Google, Microsoft and others: Here are the world’s 50 most valuable technology brands

Brand Finance has published its annual report on the world’s most valuable brands for the year 2022. Technology industry remains the most-valuable, the second-ranked is retail. Geographically, US and China continue to dominate, claiming 2/3 of brand value in ranking, while India sees the fastest-growth over course of the pandemic among top nations, up 42%.

According to the list, Apple retains the title of the world’s most valuable brand with a total valuation of $355.1 billion. This is the highest brand value ever recorded in the Brand Finance Global 500 ranking. The company’s value increased by 35% compared to 2021. As per the report, iPhone still accounts for almost half of the brand’s sales. But its more recent growth can be attributed to the company’s recognition that its brand can be applied effectively to a much broader range of services. The second and third companies on the list too remain same: Amazon and Google, in the same order. Other prominent brands in the list include Microsoft, Facebook, Samsung, Xiaomi, and Intel. New entrant TikTok is the world’s fastest-growing brand, up 215%. Here we have picked the top 50 technology companies from Brand Finance’s list of the world’s 500 most-valuable brands.
