WhatsApp is testing edit sent text messages feature in beta
While the latter is a new feature and an all-new feature for a messaging app, the ability to edit a sent message and recover a deleted message has been making headlines in relation to WhatsApp beta features.
As per a recent report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has started testing a similar feature on its platform. As the name suggests, the feature will allow users to edit sent messages. Along with that, the company is also adding read and unread filters on the desktop version of the platform.
Although the features are currently in beta testing and available only to select beta users, it is unclear when the instant messaging app will roll out these features to the final build.
