apple: Apple iPhone users will get these new features soon – Times of India

Apple has rolled out the public beta version of iOS 15.2. Those users who are in Apple’s beta program can check out the new features. Since the public beta version has been rolled out, the chances of iOS 15.2 reaching all users soon are quite high. Here are some new features that iOS 15.2 could bring to iPhone users:

Macro mode in camera

With the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro, Apple rolled out a new macro mode. However, since the launch, Apple has been tweaking settings and features in the macro mode. With iOS 15.2, there’s a new toggle for automatically switching to the ultra-wide lens for macro shots. “Show Camera control for automatically switching to the Ultra Wide lens to capture macro photos and videos,” reads the description of the toggle. Note that this is only for iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max users, who can tap on the flower-shaped icon in the Camera app to toggle on macro mode when close to an object.

New updates to Reminders app

Apple will allow users to rename and delete tags in bulk in the Reminders app. How it will work is not clear but Apple has said that “Tags can now be bulk renamed and deleted.”

Apple Arcade under the ‘spotlight’

Apple will highlight in Spotlight when users search for a game in the Apple Arcade. It’s a feature that will promote games on Apple Arcade and make it easier for users to search for games.

Small tweak to the iCloud Private Relay

Apple is changing the wording of iCloud Private Relay to “Limited IP address Tracking”. The renaming makes it absolutely clear what the feature actually does.
