Apple’s productivity apps — Pages, Keynote, Numbers — have got updates after a gap of six months. Pages is the word processing app whereas Keynote and Numbers are used to presentations and sheets. Here we tell you what’s new in the three productivity apps from Apple:
What’s new in Pages?
Apple has added the functionality of publishing directly from Pages to Apple Books. Users can publish file sizes up to 2GB. Further, users will have more options in setting font sizes as well as placing page numbers in a document. On iPhone, those who use — or want to use — Pages will get new launch actions directly from the app icon. For example, if users long-press on the Pages app icon then they can create a new document directly from the home screen. Apple has added VoiceOver controls to Pages along with the read comments and track changes features.
What’s new in Numbers?
Numbers is Apple’s spreadsheet app and it has been updated with new features as well. Users can now adjust font size up to two decimal places. Also, users can capture snapshots of table cells without any formula, hidden values or categories. Just like Pages, Numbers too gets more VoiceOver controls along with the ability to create formulas and fill cells using the accessibility feature.
What’s new in Keynote?
Keynote is Apple’s answer to PowerPoint and the app too has got minor upgrades. Users can now enlarge slides to a maximum soon level of 400%. Further, users will get the ability to change font sizes more precisely.
All apps have been updated to version 12.0 and they will be updated automatically. If users don’t have automatic app updates feature, they can head to the App Store and get the new version of all three apps.
