Apple iOS 16.1.1, iPadOS 16.1.1 updates with bug fixes are here

Apple has released iOS 16.1.1 update for iPhones and iPadOS 16.1.1 for iPads. The company hasn’t mentioned what bug fixes these updates bring but says that these are recommended for all users.
“This update includes bug fixes and security updates and is recommended for all users,” the update changelog mentions. The updates come soon after various reports emerged suggesting that a few iPhone users who updated to iOS 16.1 released late last month were facing ad-related issues and problems related to Wi-Fi connectivity.
Wi-Fi connectivity issue: Various users complained that they are getting periodic, and sometimes random, disconnects from Wi-Fi after updating to iOS 16.1. A few users even say that resetting all network settings on their iPhones did not resolve the issue.
Ad-related issue: There were also issues related to the Apple SKAdNetwork 4.0 advertising framework which enables advertisers to measure the success of ads based on app installations to specific ad campaigns.
It is likely that the 296.1 MB update has resolved the Wi-Fi connectivity issue. Furthermore, Apple has updated its system status page mentioning that the issue related to the framework SKAdNetwork has been resolved. The page suggests that the issue began on November 3 and affected “some” users.
App Store Connect issue: A few users also experienced issues in App Store Connect. As per the system status page, Apple is still working on resolving this issue.

iOS 16.2 developer beta
The next software update for iPhone users will be iOS 16.2. Apple has rolled out the public beta version of iOS 16.2 to developers and public beta users. The update will bring a string of features and changes, including a new Freefrom collaboration app, updates to the Home app, and more.
One of the most important updates is the 5G support for iPhone users in India. Both Reliance Jio and Airtel users can start using 5G on their iPhones if they are a part of the iOS 16 Beta Software Program.
