Apple iPad Pro with M2 chipset may launch later this month

Apple launched its latest iPhone and Apple Watch series recently. The company was also expected to showcase its new iPad at the event but that did not happen. Now a new online report reveals that the Cupertino-based tech giant may soon launch an M2 chip powered iPad Pro in the coming days. The report also adds that Apple may launch its new Macs sometime later next year.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple may soon launch new iPad models soon.
Gurman further adds that the new generation iPad Pro is expected to be powered by the M2 chipset. This is the same chipset which powered the M2 MacBook Air laptop which Apple launched in June this year. Apple is said to launch two models of iPad Pro with 11-inch and 12.9-inch displays.
The all new M2 chipset from Apple is said to be twice as faster as compared to the M1 chip. Along with the M2 iPad Pro, Gurman also mentions that Apple may also launch a new entry-level iPad in the coming days. The iPad is said to sport a new design with USB-C port inplace of the Lightning port.
The entry-level iPad is expected to be powered by A14 Bionic chipset which the company used in iPhone 12 and iPad Air 4. Gurman also added that Apple may not hold a digital launch event for the new iPads. He mentions that the tech giant may launch the new iPads via press release this month.
Apart from the launch of new iPads, Apple is also said to release the iPadOS 16 by the end of this month.
