Apple iPhone 13 series to go on pre-order in India today: Offers, price and more

NEW DELHI: Apple launched the all-new iPhone 13 series earlier this week. The new series consists of four smartphones — iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. All the four new iPhone will go on pre-order in India starting today (September 17) at 5.30 pm. The iPhone 13 series is powered by the company’s own A15 Bionic chipset and runs iOS 15 operating system. The all-new iPhone 13 series sports a similar design as the iPhone 12 series launched last year. However, the new series does come with a powerful processor, improved battery life and better camera.
Apple iPhone 13 series: From where to pre-order
For the first-time ever, the new iPhones will go on pre-order in India at the same time as in the US, UK, Australia and 30-plus more countries in the first wave itself. Customers can pre-book the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max at 5.30 pm today. Buyers can pre-order the new iPhone series from the Apple online store, Flipkart and Amazon. Apple distributor Ingram Micro will be offering iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro, while customers will also be able to pre-order all the models from Redington, another Apple distributor.
All the four new iPhones will be available from September 24, in India.

Apple has kept the iPhone 13 series the same as the launch prices of iPhone 12. Apple iPhone 13 series starts at Rs 69,900 and goes up to Rs 129,900. The all-new iPhone 13 series prices are as under:

* Apple iPhone 13: Rs 79,900 (128GB) Rs 89,900 (256 GB) Rs 109,900 (512GB)
* Apple iPhone13 Pro: Rs 111,900 (128GB), Rs 129,900 (256GB), Rs 149,900 (512GB), Rs 169,900 (1TB)
* Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max: Rs 129,900 (128GB), Rs 139,900 (256GB), Rs 159,900 (512GB) Rs 179,900 (1TB)
Apple iPhone 13 series: Pre-order offers
Customers purchasing Apple iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini from authorised Apple distributors can avail cashback of Rs 6,000 on HDFC Bank cards. On the other hand, buyers will get cashback of Rs 5,000 on iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max with HDFC Bank card.
Apart from this, some of the select retail outlets will be giving an additional exchange discount of Rs 3,000 for exchanging their old iPhone models for the new one. Apple’s online store is also giving trade-in benefits of up to Rs 46,120 when trading iPhone 8 or newer models.
Apple iPhone 13 series: Specifications
All the new iPhones run iOS 15 and are powered by Apple’s latest A15 Bionic chipset. The company claims that the processor is 50% faster as compared to its competition available in the market.
The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini comes in 6.1-inch and 5.4-inch displays featuring Ceramic Shield on the front. The improved Super Retina XDR OLED displays deliver a contrast ratio for true blacks and a 28 per cent increase in max outdoor brightness at 800 nits, with higher peak brightness for HDR content like photos and videos at 1200 nits, all while being more power-efficient.
The new wide camera, with 1.7 µm pixels, comes with the biggest sensor ever in an iPhone dual-camera system and is capable of gathering 47 per cent more light for less noise and brighter results. Sensor-shift OIS — a technology introduced in iPhone 12 Pro Max and not found in any other smartphone — also comes to the Wide camera, even in the more compact iPhone 13 mini.
On the other hand, the dual camera on iPhone 13 promises to offer improved colour, contrast, and lighting for each subject in a group photo, including in challenging conditions, making images more true to life, as well as improved Night mode.
Coming to the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, the smartphones feature Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion featuring an adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz, making the touch experience faster and more responsive. The pro camera system has all-new Ultra Wide, Wide, and Telephoto cameras.
