Apple is not done with 2021 launches, this may be the next big gadget coming soon – Times of India

Apple seems is not over with the year 2021’s product launches. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is all set to launch its new MacBook Pro laptops this month (October). In his weekly newsletter Power On, Gurman wrote that the wait of Apple fans for the new MacBook Pro may be almost over. “The new MacBook Pro didn’t appear at Apple’s September product unveiling, but it should still be launching in the coming weeks,” said Gurman.
In the past too, Apple has held its major new Mac introductions in the month of October. The upcoming MacBook Pro laptop is speculated to run on Apple M1X chip. The Apple M1X chip is reported to be the name for a more graphics-intense and professional-focused M1 chip. The chip is likely to debut in upcoming range of MacBook Pros and a higher-end Mac mini likely later. Apple launched its own processors in 2020. Starting with certain models introduced in late 2020, Apple began the transition from Intel processors to Apple silicon in Mac computers. These machines include:

  • iMac (24-inch, M1, 2021)
  • MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020)
  • MacBook Air (M1, 2020)
  • Mac mini (M1, 2020)

Gurman further adds that M1X has been developed in two variations: both with 10 CPU cores (eight high-performance and two high-efficiency) and either 16 or 32 graphics cores.
New Apple AirPods too may be on the way
October seem to be another busy month for Apple if these speculations are true. Earlier there were also rumours about AirPods 3 launch, but those as per new reports have got delayed and are not likely to arrive before 2022 now. AiPods Pro 2 may too arrive next year as per the rumour mill.
Some reports earlier last month had claimed that Apple will launch the new AirPods and AirPods Pro at its annual September event along with the new iPhones. Apple on September 14 launched the iPhone 13 series the Apple Watch Series 7 and a set of new iPads.
