Apple may launch its most affordable and most expensive iPads very soon – Times of India

Almost a month after unveiling a host of new products — four new iPhones, three new Apple Watch models and the AirPods Pro — Apple is set to launch a few more products. Rumour mill has been abuzz about Apple introducing new iPads to the market for a while now. A report by Bloomberg suggests that the new iPads could arrive “very soon”.
The new iPad Pro with M2 chip
Back in June, Apple unveiled the new M2 processor along with the redesigned MacBook Air. The report by Bloomberg reveals that an all-new iPad Pro with the M2 processor could be just a few days away. Apple isn’t expected to redesign the iPad Pro — unlike the MacBook Air. Instead, the new iPad Pro is rumoured to come in the existing 11-inch and 12.9-inch display variants. Powering the new iPad Pro will be the M2 processor. Little is known about the price of the iPad Pro models but sometime next week, the new iPad Pro could very well be unveiled.

The entry-level iPad
What’s also expected is the new entry-level iPad (10th-generation). Rumours suggest that the 10th-gen iPad will be powered by the A14 processor — the same is found in iPhone 12 and iPad Air (fourth generation). The entry-level iPad is expected to get a new design as speculation is rife about Apple replacing the lightning port with a type-C port. Also, it has been suggested that the entry-level iPad could offer 5G connectivity.

What else can we expect
Bloomberg’s report says that though it was expected Apple could unveil new MacBook Pro models but that’s not on the horizon as of now. Apple, as per the report, could launch the M2 MacBook Pro later this year. However, we can still get to see iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura — the two big OS updates from Apple.
