Apple releases new firmware update for AirPods, AirPods Pro and AirPods Max

Apple recently started rolling out iOS 16.3 Release Candidate update to developers and public beta users. Soon after that, the company dropped a new firmware update for AirPods 2nd generation AirPods 3rd-generation, AirPods Pro and AirPods Max.
AirPods, AirPods Pro and AirPods Pro Max new firmware update details
9to5Mac has reported that the new firmware update carries version 5B59. The update is now rolling out the AirPods across the globe. Talking about changes, the update does not bring anything major and the small change in the firmware number 5B58 (earlier) to 5B59 (current) clearly signifies that.
Apple hasn’t yet revealed the changelog for the latest AirPods firmware. However, as expected the update won’t bring anything new apart from stability improvements.
How to update Apple AirPods
Apple has never allowed users to manually update the firmware of AirPods. That being said, the AirPods automatically get updated once the update arrives given it is connected to the iPhone, iPad or MacBook.
Open Settings on your iPhone
Navigate to Bluetooth and look for your connected AirPods from the device list
Once you’ve found it, tap on the ‘i’ button in front of it
Look for the Firmware version number and check if the firmware matches — 5B59
If it does, your AirPods are running the latest version.

Meanwhile, Apple has recently announced new MacBook Pro 14 and MacBook Pro 16 powered by the company’s own M2 Pro and M2 Max processors. The new laptops are available with up 96GB RAM and an 8TB SSD drive. The new MacBook Pro price starts at Rs 1,99,900
