apple: This Apple iPhone 14 model may feature a rounder design – Times of India

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 14 series later this year and till now we have seen tons of leaks and rumours around the upcoming flagship smartphones. Now new concept graphic renders shared by Ian Zelbo suggest that the ‘Pro’ model in the iPhone 14 lineup will feature significantly rounded corners. As per Zeibo, the rounded corners will match the larger rear camera arrays.
Just like last two years, the Apple iPhone 14 series is also said to consist of four models – iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Previous reports have also suggested that the ‘Pro’ model in the upcoming lineup will have a more rounded rear and front appearance as compared to the iPhone 13 Pro. It is worth noting that the iPhone 14 Pro Max appears to have the same radii as the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
For those who are unaware, the Apple iPhone 14 Pro is rumoured to have a new camera setup with a 48MP wide lens, 12MP ultra wide and telephoto lenses. Similar predictions were shared by known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo last year. He also said that the smartphones will support 8K video recording.
The renders shared by Zelbo also support the claim that Apple is ditching the notch in the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Earlier this week, we also saw reports suggesting that iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max users will be able to enjoy faster data transfer speeds as the smartphones will get a faster USB 3.0 Lightning connector.
As of now, the Apple iPhone models are based on the USB 2.0 technology which can only transfer data at 480 Mbps. For context, the USB 3.0 Lightning port is capable of delivering speeds up to 5Gbps. Apple introduced the USB 3.0 Lightning port with the first iPad Pro in 2015.
