Apple unveils new colour variant of iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus: All the details – Times of India

Apple has launched a new colour variant for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus models. Both iPhone models will now be available in an all-new yellow colour. Apple has made it kind of a tradition of launching new colour variants with its iPhones for the last few years. The iPhone 12 and 12 mini got the purple colour variant whereas the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro got the alpine green colour variant.
New iPhone colour availability
Interested buyers will able to pre-order iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus in yellow beginning March 10, with availability beginning March 14. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus will be available in yellow in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage capacities, starting at Rs 79,900 and Rs 89,900.

The 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and 6.7-inch2 iPhone 14 Plus feature a durable aerospace-grade aluminium design that is water- and dust-resistant. There’s Ceramic Shield at the front to protect the display. Both models include a Super Retina XDR display with OLED technology that supports 1200 nits of peak HDR brightness, along with support for Dolby Vision.
Both smartphones are powered by the A15 Bionic processor. Apple claims that the A15 Bionic processor powers camera features like Photonic Engine, Action mode, and Cinematic mode. The 6-core CPU with two performance and four efficiency cores is capable of delivering impressive performance. There’s a 16-core Neural Engine is capable of 15.8 trillion operations per second.
As far as the cameras are concerned, there’s a dual camera setup at the back with 12MP primary sensor and 12MP ultra-wide lens. The front True Depth camera has a 12MP sensor. The iPhone 14 lineup introduced Photonic Engine, improving mid- to low-light performance for photos across all cameras compared to the previous generation: up to 2x on the TrueDepth and Ultra Wide cameras, and 2.5x on the new Main camera.
