Apple updates iCloud website with new design: What has changed – Times of India

In October, Apple started testing a new design for its cloud service website — iCloud.com — in the beta state. The website with the latest design has finally exited beta after weeks of testing and is now available for all users with an Apple ID. Here we discuss how the redesigned iCloud website looks, customisable options and other details:
iCloud website’s new look
By logging into the website with their Apple IDs, users will be able to see a new wallpaper along with certain tiles for their Apple ID account and a few apps like Photos, Calendar, Mail, Notes and iCloud Drive. The revamped website also has another tile that will house some more apps like Numbers, Keynote, Find My, Pages and more.

iCloud website’s customisable tiles
The new design for the iCloud website also lets users customise the page. Users will be able to choose which apps appear in each tile or remove a tile entirely. The updated website will include a button that will let users add, remove, or rearrange tiles based on other iCloud services.
Users will be able to add new tiles for the iWork suite and iCloud+ features such as Hide My Email, iCloud Private Relay, and HomeKit Secure Video. Clicking on the plus sign in the top menu bar will permit users to create a new email, calendar event, note and more. Users will also be allowed to access the service’s web app page by clicking on a widget.

Meanwhile, the bottom part of the page will display information like — the user’s iCloud plan, the amount of storage used and Apple’s data recovery service. Users will get a link to recover recently deleted files from iCloud Drive and other apps.
Apple claims that the redesigned iCloud.com page will offer a more streamlined experience that will make it easier for users to find information at a glance.
