Apple Watch 8 ‘Pro’ design: What we can expect

Apple may bring a newly designed ‘Pro’ version of its upcoming Apple Watch Series 8 this year, as per an earlier claim by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman which he made in one of his Power On newsletters. If Apple is really going for a new design for the high-end watch, it would be the first new design since the Apple Watch Series 4 that came out in 2018. Apple may introduce the world to the new Apple Watch models at its upcoming event on September 7. If not, the company could launch them later this year.
Bigger display, more durable titanium casing
As per Gurman, the Apple Watch 8 Pro will feature a five to seven per cent bigger display than the current Apple Watch models which might lead to it catering to a certain subset of customers. Also, the watch is claimed to come in a new, more durable titanium casing, with the shape of the device being “an evolution of the current rectangular shape.” So, it is not going to be circular but Gurman said that it is also not going to have “those rumoured flat sides”.
As for the casing, Gurman predicts that Apple would employ “a more durable formulation of titanium to make it extra rugged”. Plus, he also added that “the upcoming Apple Watch release is shaping up to be one of the company’s more exciting product launches this year.”

What of the other Apple Watch Series 8 models?
When it comes to the other models in Apple Watch Series 8, they are not expected to be given a redesign and as such, are billed to come in the 41mm and 44mm sizes just like the Series 7.
Apple Watch Series 8: Expected features
The Apple Watch Series 8 is expected to come powered with a new”S8″ chip and a bigger battery. The smartwatch is expected to pack in new features like a body temperature sensor meant to be utilised for enhanced sleep tracking and fertility planning and a Low Power Mode to enhance battery life.
