A report has surfaced online suggesting that the company will launch the smartwatch in three different variants. As per the report, Apple is considering launching an ‘extreme sports’ version of the upcoming Apple Watch this year. The extreme sports version of the smartwatch is said to feature a large display and rugged metal casing.
Apple Watch Extreme Sports Edition
According to a report by Bloomberg, Apple is planning to introduce an ‘extreme sports’ version of the Apple Watch this year. The upcoming smartwatch is expected to feature the largest display ever spotted on an Apple Watch. Along with this, the extreme sports variant is also said to house a big battery and rugged metal casing. The report adds that the display of the sports edition of the Apple Watch will be 2-inch bigger diagonally.
The report also suggests that the Apple Watch ‘Extreme Sports’ edition is tipped to have a resolution of 410×502 pixels resolution.
Apple Watch 8 series may include body temperature feature
A recent online reveal that the upcoming Watch Series 8 may incorporate a body temperature feature. “The body-temperature feature won’t give you a specific reading—like with a forehead or wrist thermometer—but it should be able to tell if it believes you have a fever. It could then recommend talking to your doctor or using a dedicated thermometer,” revealed a report by Bloomberg.
