Apple’s most affordable product in India – AirTag – has received a price hike in India. AirTag, an iPhone accessory that provides a private and secure way to easily locate items, was launched at Rs 3,190 and got a price hike of Rs 300. Along with this, Apple has also increased the price of a pack of four AirTag and the Leather Key Ring.

Apple AirTag features
Round in shape, the Apple AirTag measures 1.26-inches in diameter. The AirTag can be attached to a handbag, keys, backpack, or other items. Customers can personalise AirTag with free engraving, including text and a selection of 31 emoji, when purchasing.
The Bluetooth tracker uses Apple’s own U1 chip for ultrawide and precision finding. AirTag works with the ‘Find My’ feature in Apple devices. Once AirTag is set up, it will appear in the new Items tab in the Find My app, where users can view the item’s current or last known location on a map. If a user misplaces their item and it is within Bluetooth range, they can use the Find My app to play a sound from the AirTag to help locate it. Users can also ask Siri to find their item, and AirTag will play a sound if it is nearby.
The Apple AirTag comes with an IP67 rating which enables the device to withstand one meter of water for up to 30 minutes. The Bluetooth tracker comes with a CR2032 coin cell battery which can be easily replaced.
