Stranger Things launched in 2016 and has become Netflix’s flagship series, drawing massive audiences. It’s currently the streamer’s most-watched English-language show (Squid Game is still the global behemoth to beat). Developed by the Duffer Brothers, the series is set in Indiana in the 1980s. It follows a group of children fighting supernatural forces and government conspiracies. It also draws on classic films like E.T., The Goonies, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Poltergeist, Firestarter, and more.

The stakes are high in season 4. Part 1 left off with our heroes in danger. With Vecna on the loose, and Eleven still trying to regain her powers, things could get a whole lot worse before they get better. We won’t give anything away, but the Duffers are clearly setting up a big finale to lead into the show’s final season.
