NEW DELHI: Asus has expanded its Chromebook lineup with the launch of the all-new Chromebook CX1 (CX1101) in India. The ruggedized Chromebook features an 11.6-inch display and a spill-resistant keyboard. The laptop comes with a 180° lay-flat hinge and military-grade certification.
The Asus Chromebook CX1101 can withstand falls, shock and pressure. Along with this, the device has also undergone some in-house testing including — panel-pressure, shock and drop tests. Powered by an Intel processor the laptop runs on ChromeOS.
Price and availability
Asus Chromebook CX1101 comes in Transparent Silver colour option and will be available online on Flipkart starting December 15. As part of an introductory offer, the company is offering the all-new Chromebook at Rs 18,990.

Asus Chromebook CX1101 comes with an 11.6-inch HD display with 1366×768 pixel resolution. The anti-glare display of the device offers a 67% screen-to-body ratio.
The device is powered by a dual-core Intel Celeron N4120 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The Chromebook packs 64GB internal storage which can be expanded further by installing a microSD card.
Asus Chromebook CX1101 runs Chrome OS and sports a full size and spill-resistant keyboard with 1.5mm key travel. The laptop comes with an HD webcam and offers dual speakers.
Asus Chromebook CX 1101 is backed by a 42Wh battery and promises to offer 13 hours of battery backup on a single charge.
