Asus launches XG Mobile eGPU with up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 graphics for ROG Flow X13
Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the availability of XG Mobile eGPU in India. The XG Mobile eGPU is an additional detachable graphics card unit to boost the graphics performance of the ROG Flow X13 gaming laptop launched last month.
The XG Mobile eGPU is available in two configurations. The top most variant comes with a 16GB GeForce RTX3080 GPU, while the entry-level variant features an 8GB GeForce RTX3070 graphics card.
The XG Mobile pairs with Flow X13 using the built-in PCIe 3.0×8 interface which claims to provide better graphics performance and low latency than most external eGPUs.
The XG Mobile weighs around 1kg and it is claimed to be around 6% smaller than a regular eGPU to offer better portability and mobility.
The XG Mobile comes with a 280W built-in adapter and comes with a slew of I/O ports 4 USB Ports, SD Card reader, 4 HDMI 2.0a and a gigabit ethernet port for a smooth online multiplayer experience on the ROG Flow X13.
