The Taiwanese smartphone maker has already confirmed that its upcoming gaming smartphone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset. The company took to Twitter to announce the launch of a new gaming smartphone. The company tweeted, “The ROG Phone 6 is entering its ULTIMATE form! Powered by MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9000+ CPU for peak performance ???? ROG Phone 6D Ultimate, coming September 19.”

ROG Phone 6D has recently surfaced on the RoHS certification page of the company’s official website, which further confirms the name of the handset.
As far as features are concerned, Digital Chat Station has reported that the upcoming ROG Phone will feature a 165Hz refresh rate display along with a 50MP Sony IMX755 primary sensor and a 6000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
If the rumour is true, then the ROG Phone 6D will essentially offer similar specifications as the Qualcomm variant.
Right now, there’s no information that when Asus is planning to launch the alleged ROG Phone 6D. It is also not confirmed if the company is planning this smartphone for the global market or for select regions.
