Beats Studio Buds with active noise cancellation launched – Times of India
NEW DELHI: Beats has launched its latest true wireless earbuds — Studio Buds. With noise cancelling features, the earbuds come in three colour options– Black, Beats Red and White colour options– and flaunt a compact design. The earbuds come with active noise cancellation and feature one touch pairing for both Apple and Android devices.
Beats Studio Buds come with a price tag of $149.99 (Rs 11,000). The true wireless earbuds are available for purchase in the US and Canada via Apple website. The company will start shipping the earbuds from June 24. Presently, the company has not yet revealed any details about the global availability of earbuds.
Beats Studio Buds features
The Beats Studio Buds packs a proprietary dual-element diaphragm driver placed inside two-chamber housing. Apple claims that the earbuds come with an advanced digital processor which promises to optimise the audio performance for loudness and clarity.
The earbuds offer two modes ‘ANC’ and ‘Transparency’. The ANC mode uses a fine-tuned filter which adapts to the surroundings to keep unwanted sounds away. On the other hand, the ‘Transparency’ mode has external facing microphones which enable outside sound to reach your ears along with the music.
The Beats Studio Buds come with IPX4 rating which make the earbuds sweat and water-resistant. The true wireless earbuds use Class 1 Bluetooth for connecting with Android and iOS devices.This means that you can just open the case near an Android or iOS device and the earbuds will automatically pair with it.
The true wireless earbuds work with the Beats app and it allows users to use features like built-in controls, battery levels and firmware updates.
Talking about the battery backup, the Beats Studio Buds promise to deliver up to 8 hours of playback time with ANC and Transparency mode off. On the other hand, any of the modes on the earbuds claim to offer up to 5 hours of battery backup. The earbuds also support fast charging and claim that with five minutes of charge you can enjoy one hours of music.
