Been thinking about switching to Sky Q but can’t quite stomach the price? Well, the satellite TV firm has just slashed the cost of this award-winning set-top box with the company boasting that this new deal offers its “best ever” price for the telly service. The drop is part of Sky’s Black Friday sale with customers currently able to get Sky Q installed and get access to fast broadband for just £32 per month.
Considering that Sky charges £25 just for broadband this is a pretty good deal. Anyone signing up will get full access to the web along with a Sky Q box which allows multiple TV shows to be recorded on its hard drive at the same time.
Users can also pause and rewind live TV and search for content using the voice remote that comes bundled with the box. Sky Q also includes full access to a swathe of apps such as Disney+, Netflix, YouTube and Amazon Prime.
Bundled with the package are over 200 free channels to tune in to with those signing up also getting all the brilliant features of the award-winning Sky Q box. This device allows you to record multiple shows at once and pause live TV. You can also find content using your voice and it features easy access to apps such Disney+, Prime Video and Netflix.
If that content doesn’t sound like enough for your needs then Sky is offering the chance to add another 150 channels including Sky Atlantic, Sky Max and MTV for an extra £10 per month.
The standard £32 price lasts for 18-months and there is a £24.95 set-up fee to pay.
If any of that sounds enticing then you’ll need to be quick with Sky confirming that the deal will end tomorrow, November 29.
It’s not just Sky offering TV and broadband at a cheaper price with Virgin also launching some tempting deals on its bundles.
As part of the official Black Friday event, there’s an offer on the Big bundle which features over 100 channels along with 108Mbps broadband and free weekend calls. This usually costs £32 per month but Virgin has slashed that price to just £29 per month.
If you want even more bang for your buck then there’s also the Big Volt bundle which is now just £41 per month. This package includes all of those TV channels and free weekends calls but also adds better 208Mbps broadband speeds and an O2 SIM with 10GB of monthly data.
Finally, there’s a price cut for anyone wanting the Ultimate Volt bundle. This premium service usually costs £99 per month but Black Friday is chopping this down to £89.
For that price, you get 230+ channels, incl. BT Sport, Sky Sports & Sky Cinema in HD, lightning-fast fibre with avg. 630Mbps, anytime calls and unlimited O2 SIM.
