BGMI creator Krafton to launch a new real-time strategy game – Times of India

Krafton, the publisher behind popular mobile game Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), will soon launch a new game called ‘Road to Valor: Empires’. It is a real-time PvP strategy game, developed by Dreamotion Inc., and features mythical figures such as Odin from Norse mythology.
The game isn’t yet up for pre-registrations, but it is expected to release soon. It will be available for both Android and iOS devices as per the official website.

‘Road to Valor: Empires’ will feature mythical online battles
Krafton’s next major title, Road to Valor: Empires, lets players control “mythical gods, beasts, and heroes” as they vie for supremacy in online matches. The players can put together their best possible clan of warriors and form strategies as they battle other players in real-time PvP gameplay.
Going by the official images, each war unit has a level that shows its health during a battle. During an online encounter, the player’s units will appear in blue whereas the opponent’s units will appear in red. In addition to that, mythical beings will come with few special attacks.

Furthermore, the game features “realistic graphics” that deliver an ‘immersive’ visual experience. Moreover, the game mechanics allow for an in-game battle to continue in a more natural way. For instance, a cavalry soldier will keep fighting on foot if knocked over from his horse.
Sequel to the World War 2-based strategy game
Empire is the second rendition in the ‘Road to Valor’ series that succeeds ‘Road to Valor: World War II’. As the name suggests, its predecessor is a World War 2-themed game, also from the real-time PvP strategy game genre. The game has a rating of 4.1 out of 5 and 4.5 out of 5 on Play Store and App Store, respectively. Keeping in mind the positive feedback, Road to Valor: Empires has some high expectations to meet when it comes out.
