BSNL makes Independence Day offer broadband plans ‘permanent’ – Times of India

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has made some changes to its Bharat Fibre broadband plans. As per previous reports, the state-owned telecom service provider was expected to discontinue a couple of its broadband plans. However, it looks like the service provider has changed its mind and as per TelecomTalk’s report, BSNL has removed the last date timeline for these plans which means these plans will be available for users more than it was meant to be.
Earlier Rs 275, Rs 275 and Rs 775 broadband plans were supposed to get discontinued they were introduced as limited-time plans as part of Independence Day offers. However, the company has removed the last date and has made these permanent, at least for now. It is possible that the BSNL may bring back the limited-timer again for these plans.

BSNL Rs 275, Rs 275 plans: Benefits
BSNL has two broadband plans priced at Rs 275. Both the plans offer more or less similar benefits such as unlimited calling, and 3300GB data as per fair-usages-policy (FUP). Also, the speed in both plans reduces to 4Mbps after the allocated data is exhausted. The only difference here is that one plan offers 60Mbps speed, while the other offers 30Mbps. Both plans do not include any OTT benefits. Both plans offer 75 days of validity.
BSNL Rs 775: Benefits
The Rs 775 broadband plan from BSNL comes with 100Mbps speed and 2TB high-speed data. Post the data limit, the speed reduces to 4Mbps. The plan also includes unlimited calling and OTT benefits which include free subscriptions for Disney+ Hotstar, Lionsgate, SonyLiv, Zee5, etc. The plan comes with 75 days of validity.
Meanwhile, BSNL also offers unlimited data plans starting at Rs 499 for its customers. The plan comes with 30Mbps speed, unlimited data and includes free calling as well.
