E-commerce giant Amazon’s proprietary voice assistant Alexa powers several smart speakers and Echo devices. Some devices like the Echo Dot, Echo Studio and Echo Show 5 are available in India on the company’s online retail website. Now, the e-tailer major has helped multinational media company Disney to launch a new voice assistant called ‘Hey Disney!’. Amazon teamed up with the entertainment conglomerate to showcase a live demonstration of the new voice assistance platform at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023. CES 2023 which is being held in Las Vegas, US will run through January 9 (today) before it comes to an end.

Amazon has updated its blog post to reveal that this “first-of-its-kind” voice assistant will provide customers access to a “wide range of Disney magic”. Amazon said that this new voice assistant is named ‘Disney Magical Companion‘ and it is the voice of Hey Disney.
