CES 2023: AMD announces Ryzen 7000 processors for mobiles, desktops – Times of India

AMD has announced its new Ryzen 7000 mobile CPUs for desktops as well as a range of mobile processors. As per the company, the chips are launched across its portfolio, including gaming, content creation, professionals and for mainstream users.
AMD expanded the options for Socket AM5 users with the new Ryzen 7000X3D series desktop processors and 65W Ryzen 7000 series desktop processors. AMD also announced Ryzen 7045HX series mobile processors that are claimed to deliver over 50% more performance over the predecessor. AMD introduced the Ryzen 7040 series mobile processors that feature the first dedicated artificial intelligence hardware in an x86 processor on select models.

AMD mobile processors
AMD Ryzen 7045HX series processors for mobile are powered by up to 16 Zen 4 cores and 32 threads and are built on advanced 5nm process technology. They offer advanced DDR5 memory support.
AMD Ryzen 7040 series processors for mobile home with up to eight Zen 4 cores and integrated AMD RDNA 3 graphics architecture for ultrathin PC laptops.
Ryzen AI Technology: As part of the new Ryzen 7040 series mobile processors, AMD also unveiled Ryzen AI Technology, the first dedicated artificial intelligence hardware in an X86 processor. It brings AMD XDNA adaptive AI architecture to laptop computing to deliver real-time AI experiences.
AMD GPUs for laptops
AMD Radeon RX 7000 series graphics for laptops are built on the AMD RDNA 3 architecture and offer energy efficiency and performance to power 1080p gaming at ultra settings and advanced content creation applications on next-generation premium laptops, AMD says.

AMD CPUs for desktop
AMD also launched Ryzen 7000 series X3D desktop processors with 3D V-Cache technology. The CPUs are equipped with up to 144MB of cache and sport up to 16 cores and 32 threads.
AMD Ryzen 7000 Series 65W desktop processors are built on the Zen 4 architecture and feature a 65W TDP for both efficiency and performance.
AMD also launched Instinct MI300 – the world’s first integrated data centre APU designed for power-efficient AI training performance and HPC workloads. It also previewed Alveo V70 AI Accelerator – “the world’s most energy-efficient video analytics AI accelerator” for data centre and cloud deployments. It is based on AMD XDNA with AI Engine architecture.
