Consistent Infosystems launches dual-band Wi-Fi router with ethernet and GSM support

Consistent Infosystems, an India-based IT hardware company, has announced its latest dual-band Wi-Fi router priced at Rs 5,500. Among its key features is support for both ethernet-based networks and GSM networks. With this device, the company hopes to keep users “connected to the grid always.”
This 4G/LTE router is targeted at users located in remote areas with little to no local internet availability. The GSM capability acts as a backup connection in case something goes wrong with the ISP connection. There are other applications of the device as well, though.

Also, the Wi-Fi router will be available for purchase on the manufacturer’s official website, ‘consistent.in’ and other retail outlets. When it comes to buyer protection, Consistent has offered a one-year replacement warranty with this product.
Consistent dual-band Wi-Fi router features
Consistent’s Wi-Fi router offers dual-band connectivity with 2.4GHz and 5GHz modes, allowing users to connect devices to a specific band based on the bandwidth requirement. Moreover, the router features three 5dB antennas, which the company claims to provide “extensive long-range operation with beamforming.”
Highlighting the Wi-Fi’s network-agnostic GSM support, the company said, “The Consistent Wireless Router is a simple, yet highly versatile dual-band wireless GSM router that works with all GSM mobile network providers.”

In addition to the above features, it provides users with “high-speed data networking” for IPTV and 4K streaming needs. Apart from its router function, the device can also work as an access point for extending a physical LAN connection. Furthermore, you can also use it as a “range-extender” or repeater to improve an existing Wi-Fi’s range.
“This GSM wireless router is a must-have peripheral for those seeking remote surveillance for areas such as farms, fields, warehouses, garages, terraces, barren properties, and other such areas where local ISPs do not have feasibility options,” added the Indian company.
