First-person shooter Counter Strike: Global Offensive, more popularly known as CS:Go has announced new gameplay content in the form of Operation Riptide DLC. This is the 11th operation overall in CS Go history. The downloadable content can be purchased from Steam at Rs 1,140.
Operation Riptide adds new maps, new game modes, new agents and new Private Queues. You can get new agents, weapon collections, stickers, patches, etc. upon completion of weekly missions.
The new feature called Private Queues lets you create private Premier match on Valve servers. All you need to do is generate a Queue code and share it with buddies or select your Groups on Steam and play a match with others there.
Operation Riptide also adds an option to select a preference for match duration in competitive Matchmaking which can be chosen out of the three: Short (MR 16), Long (MR 30), or No Preference. You will also be able to select Classic Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Free-for-all Deathmatch.
Coming to the new maps in the game, County will now appear in official matchmaking in Danger Zone game mode. Basalt and Insertion II maps have been added to official matchmaking in Competitive, Casual, and Deathmatch game modes while Ravine and Extraction maps have been added to official matchmaking in Wingman game mode while Grind, Mocha, Pitstop, Calavera and Frostbit maps have been axed from matchmaking.
