Japanese brand Daiwa has launched two new 4K UHD Smart TVs in India — Daiwa 4K UHD Smart TV D43U1WOS has a screen size of 43-inch and the Daiwa 4K UHD Smart TV D55U1WOS sports a 55-inch display. The new Daiwa smart TVs run on LG’s webOS TV and also features built-in ThinQ AI voice function. Both the models come with a bezel-less design and offer multiple features that include Motion Estimation Motion Compensation (MEMC) support, Dolby Audio, HDR10 support and more. The new Daiwa smart TVs also come with the Magic Remote.
Daiwa 4K UHD Smart TV price and availability
The Daiwa 4K UHD Smart TV with 43-inch display is priced at Rs 34,999, while the one with the 55-inch display will come at a price of Rs 49,999. Both the smart TV’s will be available at retail stores in India and the official website of the company. Daiwa is also offering a one-year panel warranty and a one-year complete warranty on this product.
Daiwa 4K UHD Smart TV Key specifications
This smart TV comes with a Ultra-HD 4K (3,840×2,160 pixels) resolution display in both the 43-inches and 55-inches screen sizes. It supports a peak brightness of 400 nits, 1.07 billion colours and HDR10. Both the screen sizes support Quantum Luminit+ technology, 60Hz refresh rate and have a 96 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Both the TVs are powered by Al quad-core chipsets backed with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. It supports MEMC, HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma), HDR10 and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) for better gaming experience. The smart TV’s run on LG’s webOS TV and has ThinQ AI voice features along with built-in Amazon Alexa voice assistant.
Both the smart TVs are equipped with 20W surround sound speakers backed with Dolby Audio support. For connectivity, the TVs include — two-way Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, two USB ports, three HDMI ports and the Miracast feature.
The Magic Remote which comes with the TVs are very similar to the ones that come with LG smart TVs. It is expected to support Air Mouse technology and might have a scroll wheel in the center along with a button dedicated to voice assistant.
The TVs also support customisable picture and sound settings for users to view the content on OTT apps as per their preferences. The 43-inch display one has a weight of 7.5 kilograms and the 55-inch one has a weight 13.5 kilograms, without their respective stands.
