Daiwa has released a new batch of smart TVs that are “Made in India”. They are available in two screen sizes of 32-inches and 39-inches with 1366×768 resolution. Moreover, TVs of each size can be picked up in a standard as well as a voice-enabled variant. These come bearing something called CloudTV OS with a custom UI called ‘The Bigwall’. This sports a host of OTT apps like Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, and Amazon Prime. You will be able to hear the content through 20W stereo speakers.

The new TV models are the following:
- 32-inch: D32SM9,
- 39-inch: D40HDR9L
- 32-inch Voice-enabled: D32SM9A
- 39-inch Voice-enabled: D40HDR9LA
As already mentioned, these TVs are HD-ready and feature a 20W stereo speaker setup.
The software is called Cloud TV OS (based on Android 9 TV) with The Bigwall user interface. Under the hood, the TVs come powered by an A53 Quad-core processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB ROM. The list of connectivity options includes 2 HDMI, 2 USB-A, WiFi, Ethernet, and Optical Output.
You get access to popular OTT apps like Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Sony Liv, YouTube, Zee5, and a ‘Movie Box’ App with 25000+ free movies in different languages and genres. You can also make use of the My Daiwa App to find details of over 800+ service locations. Daiwa has priced the 32-inch Smart TVs at ₹11,990 (regular) and ₹12,490 (voice-activated), while the 39-inch Smart TVs come at ₹17,990 and ₹18,490 (voice-activated).
