Death Stranding available for free on Epic Store – Times of India

Death Stranding, Hideo Kojima’s “artistic” masterpiece, often regarded as a walking simulator by some, is available for free on Epic Games Store, but for a limited time. The Epic Games Store is giving away Death Stranding for free as a part of its 15 days Christmas giveaway, and it is available until 9:30 PM today, i.e., December 26.
Produced by Kojima Productions, Death Stranding is an open-world game set in the near future, featuring one Sam Bridges, who is on a mission to save humanity from the destructive events known as “Death Stranding.” The game first released on PlayStation 4, then later was ported to PC – which is also a remastered version.
How to redeem Death Stranding for free
To redeem Death Stranding, the user needs to have an Epic Games account, and then one can either redeem the game from the Epic Games Store on the web or the Epic Games launcher. Once redeemed, the game will be added to the Games Library, and one can download and play it anytime.
The standard edition is available for free and retails for Rs 709. Earlier, Epic had listed the Director’s Cut of the game but later replaced it with the standard edition.

The Epic Games holiday sale lasts until December 29, and a new game will be listed for free each day. There are also heavy discounts on titles across the store, including Cyberpunk 2077, God of War, FIFA 23, Grand Theft Auto: Premier Edition, Red Dead Redemption 2, and more.
