dell laptops: Dell launches new Alienware X-series, XPS and G15 laptops, price starts Rs 82,990

Ahead of the festive season, Dell Technologies has launched the new consumer PC portfolio in India. The new lineup comprises Alienware’s thinnest laptops to date, the latest Dell G15 gaming series and the new XPS series laptops. The list includes Dell G15 (Intel), G15(AMD), XPS15, XPS17, Alienware x15 and Alienware x17.
Price and availability
The Dell G15 AMD will be available from September 23 at a starting price of Rs 82,990 while the Dell G15 Intel w will be available from the same date at a starting price of Rs 94,990.
The Dell XPS 15 is now available at a starting price of Rs 2,23,990 while the XPS 17 comes at a starting price of Rs 2,64,490.
The Alienware x15 is available at a starting price of Rs 2,40,990 whereas the Alienware x17 is available at a starting price of Rs 290,990.
The laptops can be purchased from Dell Exclusive Stores (DES), large format retail and multi-brand outlets. The Alienware x15, Alienware x17, XPS 15 and XPS 17 will also be available for purchase from Dell.com from September 3, 2021.
The Alienware x15 and x17 gaming laptops
The new Alienware X-series laptops come powered with the 11th Gen Intel Core i9H-series mobile processors on x15 and i9K CPU on the x17 and up to NVIDIA GeForce, RTX 3080 GPUs support on both.
The x15 features a 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) 360Hz refresh rate display with Nvidia G-SYNC and Advanced Optimus. It comes with 300-nits brightness and 100% sRGB colour gamut. It runs Windows 10 Home and comes in two RAM options: 16GB and 32GB. There is a single storage option of 1TB PCIe M.2 solid-state drive.
The x17, on the other hand, comes with the same display power, albeit in a bigger, 17.3-inch screen. It runs Windows 10 Home and comes in just one RAM option: 32GB. There is a single storage option of 1TB PCIe M.2 solid-state drive.
The laptops come with a Thermal Control Circuit offset (TCC offset) which allows users to set a control limit to the CPU temperature. The technology is meant to keep the system CPU temperature within the defined range.
They also have five Power States – Full Speed (max power), performance mode (graphics priority), balanced mode (balanced CPU/GPU), battery saver (low-temperature priority) and quiet mode (acoustics priority).
