Do you use your smartwatch less when you’re wearing long sleeves?
Kaitlyn Cimino / Android Authority
Smartwatches have been around for years at this point, starting out with the likes of the Pebble series and expanding to today’s massive market. So you’d think we’d be familiar with the various habits associated with these wearables.
However, our own Rita El-Khoury made a rather interesting observation in the Android Authority Slack group this week. She noticed that she used her smartwatch less often when wearing long sleeves. We figured it was therefore worth asking our readers whether they use their watches less often with long sleeves too, so let us know via the poll below.

Rita noted that long sleeves served as a mild deterrent of sorts to interacting with the smartwatch, given that it’s covering the device in the first place. So we can see why people would interact with their watch more often when they had short sleeves on instead.
Then again, we can understand why some people might say they don’t notice a major difference in usage between short sleeves and long sleeves. Using a watch when wearing long sleeves might still be less of a fuss than grabbing your phone for some people, especially if your phone is in a bag.
Either way, you can give us the answer via the poll above and leave a comment if you’ve got more to say on the subject.
