Dyson has expanded its vacuum cleaner category in India with the launch of Dyson Omni-glide. According to the company, the device is ideal for daily cleaning and comes with compact cord free design.
Dyson Omni-glide price and availability
Priced at Rs 34,900, the Dyson Omni-glide will be available via Dyson.in as well as across eight Dyson Demo Spaces in Delhi, Gurugram, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai. Third-party e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and select Croma partners are also selling the newly launched Dyson device.
Dyson Omni-glide features
The Dyson Omni-glide is said to be the company’s first-ever Dyson vacuum cleaner engineered for daily cleaning. The Dyson Omni-glide vacuum cleaner also comes with three — for cleaning up high, down low and anywhere in between. These tools include a mini motorised tool.
Dyson claims that it has an omnidirectional Fluffy cleaner head that is able to glide in all directions — forwards, backwards and sideways. The Fluffy cleaner head floats on four 360° stabilising castors that are said to allow it to move in all directions. According to the company, the castors height and placement were engineered to ensure minimal resistance.
It even has a rearranged in-line format, which can make the machine lie flat and clean in tight spaces. Dyson claims that its separation system, motor, filter and handle are aligned to enable the machine to lie flat to the floor and clean in spaces such as under a sofa or between furniture.
Like other Dyson products Omni-glide includes a Dyson Hyperdymium motor but with no loss of suction, and spins at up to 105,000rpm.
This product also comes with the company’s five-stage filtration proprietary technology, said to be able to capture 99.99% of particles as small as 0.3 microns and expelling cleaner air.
The device is said to offer a simple ejection mechanism with a rotary catch. It also has silicone collar wipes down the mesh shroud to drive out dust.
