Dyson V12 Detect Slim vacuum cleaner launched with laser detect technology at Rs 58,900

Dyson has launched its new generation of cord-free vacuum cleaners in India. The company has unveiled Dyson V12 Detect Slim with laser detect technology. It is claimed to detect dust particles as small as 10 microns. The vacuum cleaner offers five-stage filtration and is said to capture 99.99% dust particles.
Dyson V12 Detect Slim vacuum cleaner is priced at Rs 58,900. It is available online at Dyson.in and Dyson Demo stores. The company offers free next-day delivery along with auto-warranty registration.
Dyson V12 Detect Slim is the company’s first vacuum cleaner to come with laser dust detection. The technology is claimed to reveal particles that are not visible to the naked eyes. The device comes with a green laser diode integrated into the Slim Fluffy cleaner head. It is positioned at a 1.5-degree angle and is 7.3mm off the ground to capture 99.99% dust particles, as claimed by the company.
The piezo sensor on the vacuum cleaner has an in-built LCD screen to display the dust detected by it. Carbon fibre filaments in the cleaner head pick up microscopic particles which then hit the acoustic piezo sensor within the bin inlet with the tiny vibrations being converted to electrical signals. The dust size and quantity are then shown on the screen.
Another feature of the Dyson V12 Detect Slim is that it can automatically increase suction power when it comes across a large amount of dust. When dust levels normalise, suction power is reduced to its previous level.
The vacuum cleaner comes with a new anti-tangle conical brush bar which spirals hair off and into the bin. This prevents the wrapping of hair around the brush bar.
Dyson V12 Detect Slim features 5-stage advanced filtration technologies and is said to capture 99.99% of particles as small as 0.3 microns.
