The latest mobile game is now available for Android devices in five Asian countries which are — Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. Battlefield Mobile’s beta version is not currently available in India and is expected to arrive soon in the country as the pre-registration for the title is open.

According to a report by VGC, EA CEO Andrew Wilson has suggested that Battlefield Mobile is expected to get a global release “late this year or in early 2023,” during an earnings call in May. However, the game’s wider rollout will depend on the progress of the initial testing.
Wilson also mentioned that the company wants to make sure that the game has “all the soft launch and closed beta” it needs to “tune and balance.”

This game is being developed by Industrial Toys, a gaming studio that EA acquired in 2018. This studio is headed by Bungie founder and ex-CEO Alex Seropian.
An official FAQ page of the latest game mentions that Battlefield Mobile is free-to-download. As per the page, the game will feature collectable cosmetics, Battle Passes and unlockables which will be unique to the mobile title. The page also notes that the items that will be available for purchase will only have cosmetic effects and will not impact the player’s performance or gameplay.
Battlefield Mobile’s open beta will include classic Battlefield modes like Conquest and Rush. Apart from this, the mobile version will also feature existing maps like Noshahr Canals and Grand Bazaar from Battlefield 3.
