NEW DELHI: Echo Buds 2nd Generation official in India. Amazon has entered a new product category in India with the launch of its first true wireless earbuds — Amazon Echo Buds 2nd Generation. The all new Echo Buds 2nd Generation promise to offer crisp, balanced sound output and come with active noise cancellation. Compatible with Android and iOS the earbuds also support Google Assistant and Siri.
Price and availability
The all new Echo Buds come in two variants one with wired charging case priced at Rs 11,999 and other with the wireless charging case priced at Rs 13,999. As part of a limited period offer, the e-tailer is giving a flat discount of Rs 1,000 on both the versions. Customers can purchase the true wireless earbuds from Amazon.in. The device comes only in Black colour variant.
Echo Buds 2nd Generation features
Echo Buds 2nd Generation feature a high-performance driver that promises to deliver crisp, balanced sound with extended dynamic range. The premium speakers on the earbuds are optimised to increase fidelity in bass and treble. Users can also control the bass and treble from the equalizer given in the Alexa app.
The true wireless earbuds also come with active noise cancellation and claim to cancel the ambient noise. To turn on Active Noise Cancellation, simply press and hold either earbud, or just say, “Alexa, turn on noise cancellation”, or access settings from the Alexa app. When you want to hear what’s going on around you, enable Passthrough Mode with a press and hold on either earbud or by saying, “Alexa, turn on Passthrough.” With Passthrough Mode on, you can easily adjust the amount of ambient sound you hear through the device settings in the Alexa app.
The earbuds come with IPX4 rating which allow the device to withstand splashes, sweat, or light rain. A short nozzle and the built-in vents reduce ear pressure during use, and make Echo Buds ideal for long periods of use during the day. The company is also giving four ear tip sizes and two wing tip sizes with Echo Buds.
Echo Buds 2nd Generation promise to offer up to five hours of music playback on a single charge with active noise cancellation on. The battery life increases to 15 hours with the charging case. You can also check the battery status in the Alexa app, or open the case while your Echo Buds are inside and the LED lights in front of each earbud will show the battery status.
