EeVe, a subsidiary of Indian consumer company Bharat Group, has launched a new electric scooter in India. Dubbed as the EeVe Soul, it’s the sixth such two-wheeler in the company’s lineup and the first to come with FAME-II subsidies. This flagship electric scooter is fitted with dual lithium ferrous phosphate (LFP) batteries that have a combined capacity of 2.2kWh. The EeVe Soul electric scooter also comes with several high-tech features such as IoT functions, GPS integration, geo-tagging and geo-fencing anti-theft lock system, USB socket, and more. EeVe Soul electric scooter price in India, availability

The EeVe Soul electric scooter is priced in India at Rs 1,40,000 (ex-showroom). There is no word on the sale date yet, but the scooter is likely to be available in the company’s around 100 dealerships and 300 sub-dealerships across the country. The EeVe Soul will have a three-year standard warranty.

EeVe Soul electric scooter specifications

The Odisha-based electric mobility solutions company EeVe India claims that the Soul offers up to 120Km on a single charge. The 2.2kWh batteries are swappable and removable and take around 3-4 hours to fully charge. The electric scooter is powered by a 1200W hub-mounted Bosch motor and comes with three ride modes. The first mode or the Eco mode can achieve a top speed of 40Km/h, while the second and third modes notch up to 50Kmph and 60Kmph respectively. 

Additionally, the scooter comes with a negative LCD screen for battery percentage, speedo, trip, time, and temp information. There are a set of speakers as well for music, which you can control from the buttons on the left handlebar grip. Other nifty features of the EeVe Soul electric scooter include reverse mode, combined braking system, and keyless function. While the two-wheeler comes with GPS, it doesn’t support navigation. Lastly, many parts of EeVe Soul scooter is ECC certified, meaning that it lives up to European standards of construction.
