Elon Musk is running another poll on Twitter: Here’s what it’s all about – Times of India
We took a part in the poll and at the time of writing this report, a majority of people want Musk to reinstate all the accounts that were banned previously. However, the Tesla chief has put forward a condition. He wants only those accounts to be reinstated that “have not broken the law or engaged in egregious spam.”
Should Twitter offer a general amnesty to suspended accounts, provided that they have not broken the law or engaged in egregious spam?

The poll has got mixed reactions. While some asked whether the lifting of the umbrella ban will reinstate Alex Jones’s account as well, others gave names of handles they want Musk to bring back on the platform. There are still a few hours to go before the voting time ends.
Where is Twitter’s content moderation council?
The news comes a day after people called out Musk for reinstating the former US president’s account before convening a content moderation council. The SpaceX founder had previously said that there would be no reinstatements before a content moderation council is formed.
Apart from Trump’s handle, Musk also welcomed Kanye West back on Twitter. He was banned for his antisemitic tweets.
Musk blames activists for his decisions
After being criticised, Musk explained that the decision to not reinstate banned accounts was based on a condition with “a large coalition of political/social activist groups” that agreed not to “starve Twitter of advertising revenue.” He claimed that the coalition “broke the deal” and since there was no deal stopping the reinstatement, Musk essentially went ahead to bring Trump back on the platform.
