91mobiles has exclusively learned from sources the upcoming Lava budget phone will be priced under Rs 10,000. The USP of the phone will be the glass back panel, which should attract some attention. There are chances the phone could ship with a Unisoc chipset but the exact details are under wraps at the moment. That’s pretty much it about the upcoming Lava phone but we should learn more details going forward.

Lava Agni 5G specifications

To recall the Lava Agni specifications, it is the company’s first 5G phone in India. The handset flaunts a large 6.78-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 2460 × 1080 pixels resolution, punch-hole cutout and narrow bezels. It is powered by a 2.4GHz MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset paired with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. The Lava Agni runs on Android 11 OS with a near-stock UI custom skin on top.

As for the cameras, the Lava Agni has a quad-camera setup on the back, led by a 64MP primary camera with an LED flash, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 16MP snapper for selfies and video chats. 

Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfers. There is a 5000mAh battery and it supports 30W fast charging. It is equipped with a mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The phone measures 168.8×76.8×9.1 mm and weighs 204 grams.
