[Exclusive] OnePlus Oscar smartphone in the works, launch timeline revealed

While the exact moniker of the phone remains in the dark, for now, we speculate it could be the standard OnePlus 10 that hasn’t debuted in China to date. We should start hearing more details about the OnePlus Oscar going forward but for now, it’s definite that OnePlus is working on another flagship and it will be launching soon.

Besides the OnePlus Oscar, the company seems to have planned its calendar for the entire year. The brand will be having a busy year as reports suggest it is working on expanding its Nord lineup further, with two new phones, first-ever Nord-branded TWS earbuds (whose renders 91mobiles has exclusive shared), a new fitness band and a smartwatch, and a tablet. There’s also the rumoured OnePlus Nord CE Lite that will be priced under Rs 20,000.

All this indicates that OnePlus doesn’t want to limit itself to a couple of flagship upgrades and a few audio products for the entire year and aims to offer a wider range of phones and accessories. It appears that the Nord lineup will play a significant role. It wouldn’t be a surprise if we were to see budget and mid-range offerings from OnePlus in the near future.
