OPPO recently launched the OPPO A55 in India and by the looks of it the company is already planning to launch its successor pretty soon here as well. The upcoming device will also be a 5G-ready device as well. 91mobiles has exclusively learned from industry sources that the upcoming smartphone will launch soon in India in different colour options. The official render provided to us reveals the phone’s design and we have also learned about the OPPO A56 5G specifications.
As you can see from the image above, the OPPO A56 5G will come in Blue, Purple, and Black colour options. The rear panel sees a rectangular camera module that houses dual cameras. At the front, the phone gets a waterdrop notch. The phone also features a side fingerprint sensor.

The OPPO A56 5G as stated above will be a dual-band 5G smartphone with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset inside it. The smartphone will be available in two variants with 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM options. Both variants of the smartphone will have a 128GB internal storage option.
The device features a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch at the top. It will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner with NFC support as well. The smartphone will run on ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box. The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery with a 10W charging support and it weighs around 189 grams. The smartphone is fairly slim considering its huge battery with an 8.4mm thickness.
The OPPO A56 5G will have a dual rear camera setup at the back, with a 13MP primary camera and the second 2MP camera for portrait shots. For selfies, the smartphone will have an 8MP camera. The smartphone is expected to launch in three different colour options namely, Cloud Smoke Blue, Wind Chime Purple, and Soft Mist Black.
