[Exclusive] Samsung Galaxy A53 5G live images reveal design and rear camera layout

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G live images

This is the first time we’re getting a look at live images of the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G. The live images show the smartphone’s frame, rear panel, and moulds. The images confirm a few things, such as the triple rear camera setup and curved edges. These confirm the renders we saw a couple of months ago.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G specifications

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G was recently listed on TENAA, which revealed its key specifications. Thanks to the listing, we know that it’ll feature a 6.46-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a punch-hole design and in-screen fingerprint sensor.

The chipset powering the smartphone is rated to have a clock speed of up to 2.4GHz; previous reports have shown it will be powered by the Exynos 1200 SoC. A recent Geekbench listing had revealed that the phone will come with at least 6GB RAM, and run Android 12-based OneUI skin. However, the latest TENAA listing has listed a phone with 8GB RAM, so it’s likely that we may get two RAM+storage options. The listing does show that the phone will get 128GB and 256GB storage options.

In the camera department, you will get a 64MP + 32MP + 5MP triple camera setup on the back and a 12MP + 5MP dual camera setup on the front.

The listing also reveals that the phone will house a 4,860mAh battery (likely to be marketed as 5,000mAh); a 3C listing has confirmed that the phone will only come with a 15W charger in the box. Samsung Galaxy A53 5G will weigh 190 grams and measure 159.5 x 74.7 x 8.1mm in size.

We should know more about the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G in the coming days, as we believe that the phone’s launch is just around the corner. Samsung will most likely reveal a launch date soon, and it should be available for purchase in India in the next few weeks.
