Samsung is working on a new set of true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones called the Galaxy Buds2.  These earphones will arrive as successors to the Galaxy Buds+. The Galaxy Buds2 have been leaked a number of times in the past, leaving behind a trail of specifications. Last week, 91Mobiles exclusively revealed the Galaxy Buds2 design through renders and promo images. What we also know is that the TWS earbuds could launch in August alongside the Galaxy Watch4. Now, we have some information regarding the Galaxy Buds2 price courtesy of tipster Yogesh.

Samsung Galaxy Buds2 price

Industry insider, Yogesh, has exclusively shared with us the expected Galaxy Buds2 price. According to him, the Galaxy Buds2 will cost anywhere between USD 149 and USD 169 (approx Rs 11,000 to Rs 12,500). This suggests the Galaxy Buds2 will be priced similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy Buds+, which were launched at USD 149. Notably, the Galaxy Buds+ are currently selling for USD 99 (approx Rs 7,300). This price tag puts the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 in direct competition with the Beats Studio Buds, which cost USD 149 in the US. While the Galaxy Buds2 price in India is still under wraps, we are assuming that these earphones will cost around the same in the Indian market, which could be between Rs 11,000 and Rs 13,000.

Samsung Galaxy Buds2 specifications

According to the renders of the Galaxy Buds2 that we obtained, the upcoming earphones will feature a design similar to the Galaxy Buds Pro and they will be available in four color options, White, Black, Purple, and Green. According to past reports, the Galaxy Buds2 will not feature active noise cancellation (ANC) but they will come with rubber tips for passive noise cancellation. These earphones will have wear detection and two mics on each earbud. According to the FCC listing, the Galaxy Buds2 will have a 60mAh battery in each earbud and a 500mAh battery in the charging case. While the charging case will support 2.5W charging, the earbuds will feature a 0.6W charging speed.
