[Exclusive] Vivo Wireless Sport Lite set to launch in India on September 21st | 91mobiles.com
Vivo’s Wireless Sport Lite neckband-style earphones are already available in the global market but will be coming to India soon. 91mobiles has heard from industry sources that Vivo is planning to launch these earphones in India on September 21st. Earlier this week, we exclusively revealed the tentative launch timeline and pricing for the Vivo Wireless Sport Lite earphones. Now, we’ve got word that the launch will be happening as early as next week.
Vivo Wireless Sport Lite India launch date
As mentioned above, the Vivo Wireless Sport Lite will be launching in India next week on September 21st. The neckband-style earphones were launched globally back in April this year. This would be the second earphone from Vivo to be available in India. The company also sells the Vivo Neo TWS earbuds (review) in the country, which were launched last year.
The Wireless Sport Lite are expected to be priced in India at around Rs 2,000, which makes them very competitive. The brand will be competing against similar offerings from Xiaomi, OnePlus, Realme, OPPO, and others. Since the earphones are already available globally, the specifications are known. These neckband-style earphones come with an 11.2mm aluminium coated bronze moving coil driver that helps deliver thumping bass. The earphones have been tuned by the Golden Ears Acoustic Lab of Vivo. They also come with a high-sensitive mic with a low latency of 80ms that offer great call quality and gaming experience.
The earphones are rated to last up to 18 hours on a single charge, and also support fast charging. A quick 10-minute charge is enough for 5 hours of playback. Other features include Quick Pair with Vivo phones, Quick Switch, Google Assistant support, and autoplay/pause. The earbuds also have inbuilt magnets, which help them stay secure when you’re wearing them around your neck. The earphones will be available in Blue and Black colour options.
