Rockstar recently announced the GTA+ membership program exclusive for Grand Theft Auto Online. It is a new player membership program that is aimed to deliver exclusive rewards and benefits. How much do the subscriptions cost?
Subscriptions for this new program are now available for GTA Online players. Users have to sign up at the PlayStation Store on the PS5 or Microsoft Store on Xbox to buy the subscription. Users can sign up for this membership by paying $5.99 (roughly around Rs 450) per month starting from March 29 and can also cancel the subscription anytime they want.
Rockstar has also promised to keep on updating the rewards and special benefits for the members every month. However, it is important to note that Rockstar will continue charging the membership fee if it is not cancelled.
Pre-requisites for purchasing the GTA+ membership
Players who are willing to subscribe to the GTA+ membership program need to have a copy of Grand Theft Auto V or Grand Theft Auto Online. They also need to have a platform account with a valid registered method of payment for the platform on which they can choose to purchase their GTA+ membership. Players will need internet connectivity to access Grand Theft Auto Online to claim and receive GTA+ membership’s in-game benefits.
Benefits of being a GTA+ member
A recurring monthly GTA$500,000 will be deposited directly into your Maze Bank account if you register for the GTA+ membership. You will also get the opportunity to claim properties in and around Los Santos that unlocks gameplay updates you might have missed out on. Moreover, it will also include other rewards like — special vehicle upgrades, Member-only discounts, GTA$, RP bonuses and more every month.
Benefits offered for the first month of membership (March 29–April 27)
As mentioned earlier, every GTA+ member will get GTA$500,000 delivered automatically to their Maze Bank Account. Additionally, players will also get an ultra hypercar, the Principe Deveste Eight, along with a complimentary Hao’s Special Works upgrade for it before it is made available to purchase by the general public.
This membership also waives the LS Car Meet Membership fees and will be reimbursed GTA$50,000 during this event period. Yacht owners will be able to upgrade to the Aquarius Super Yacht at no additional cost. The Gussét Frog Tee and Broker Prolaps Basketball Top and Shorts will automatically be added to the wardrobe of GTA+ subscribers.
Moreover, a range of free paints and emblems will be available for the Auto Shop. Subscribed players will also gain 3X GTA$ and RP on Hao’s Special Works Race Series and 2X Car Meet Rep on the Street Race Series.
GTA+ members will also be able to take advantage of the special GTA+ Shark Cards that offer bonus cash from both PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store.
How to claim GTA+ benefits every month
Rockstar has claimed to deliver a new set of exclusive rewards for GTA+ members every month. Members will have to visit the stores found in the GTA Online web browser to claim and enjoy monthly benefits before they expire. These stores include — Legendary Motorsport, Hao’s Special Works, Maze Bank Foreclosures, DockTease and others. However, it is important to note that all GTA+ benefits are provided in addition to the regular GTA Online events, which will be available for all players.
