Explained: What is Twitter Circles and how you can use it

There are times when you just want to talk to your own group of people and not to everybody available in your friendlist. With this same thought in mind, Twitter created a feature called Twitter Circle. Rival to Instagram‘s Close Friends feature, Twitter Circle is a new way to Tweet to a smaller crowd.
What is Twitter Circles
Twitter Circle enables users to have the flexibility to choose who can see and engage with their content on a Tweet-by-Tweet basis. This makes it easier to have more intimate conversations and build closer connections with select followers. The feature allows Twitter users to create a group of people and then share the post (tweet) with the created group instead of all the followers. Twitter Circle is available for every user on iOS, Android and Twitter.com.
How Twitter Circle works
Before you post on Twitter, you’ll now see an option to share your Tweet with either your circle or your full followers list. You can include up to 150 people in a circle and you are also allowed to add or remove anyone from the circle anytime. Also, Twitter has made sure that no will come to know about the changes you make in your Twitter Circle. This means that if you remove anyone from your Twitter Circle then that person will not get any notification.
The tweets which you send in your circle will appear with a green badge. They can only be seen by those you’ve selected to be in your circle and cannot be Retweeted or shared. Additionally, all replies to these Tweets are private, even if your Twitter account is public. Also you are allowed to have only one Twitter Circle.
