Forza Horizon 5 Series 10 is Live: How to play; new features and more

Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels is now live. This is the first big expansion for Forza Horizon 5 from Playgrounds claims to offer “fastest, most extreme, gravity-defying tracks, new biomes to explore and tons of new cars and features.” Players can look forward to driving 10 new cars in ‘Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels’
Hot Wheels Park features new and diverse biomes: From the rugged Giant’s Canyon; to the frozen tundra dripping into the molten lava in the Ice Cauldron; to the tree canopy towering above epic waterfalls in Forest Falls; and all brought together under Horizon Nexus, where the Horizon Festival is suspended among the interconnected Hot Wheels tracks.
It has introduced new track types – 212 kilometers (131 miles) of Hot Wheels tracks to be precise. From navigating the snowy Ice track, to hydroplaning on Water Flumes, staying in control over the bumps of Rumble, and even defying gravity on the futuristic Magnet tracks. In addition to the instant acceleration push granted by Speed Boosts, the new Air Tracks aim to give gamers consistent speed through time, allowing them to progressively get faster and faster before reaching the highest possible speeds.

What else is new in the update
In addition to the new map, Horizon Hot Wheels Park, high above the clouds in Mexico, there’s all sorts of new features to explore. These include:
Become a Hot Wheels Legend: Gemers will need to prove that they can master the extreme speeds of Hot Wheels Park before progressing onto faster and faster car classes. The Hot Wheels Academy introduces a new progression system that’s divided into five tiers with rewards, events and Missions associated to each.
A new Horizon Story: ‘Hot Wheels: A History of Speed’ features five chapters, which are unlocked alongside gamers’ Hot Wheels Rank, taking them on a journey of the history of Hot Wheels as they perform fun stunts and challenges along the way.
Race with friends and the community: Gamers can now join friends and play the entire expansion from the very beginning in co-op, including the introductory Hot Wheels Expedition.
Create own Hot Wheels adventure in EventLab: The Hot Wheels Creation Kit features over 80 track and stunt pieces that can be instantly snapped together. Horizon Hot Wheels Park features a new UI reticle that called G-Forza. This roll indicator changes based on the car’s rotation while driving on Hot Wheels tracks.
New accessibility options: New camera FOV options are coming to console for the first time, including Chase Cam FOV and Far Chase Cam FOV. By default, these are set to maximum and will not be reflected when driving in Mexico. PC users can also customize these settings as well as Driver Cam FOV, Dashboard Cam FOV, Hood Cam FOV, and Bumper Cam FOV. There’s also a Motion Blur toggle on console allowing players to choose between Short and Long Motion Blur or disable the feature entirely. And a new Hot Wheels Stunt Steering assist can also be toggled which helps steer you away from track edges when driving through highly tilted or inverted Hot Wheels track pieces.
How to play
Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels is included in the Forza Horizon 5 Premium Add-ons Bundle, Premium Edition, and Expansions Bundle. Those who do not have any of those bundles can purchase the standalone Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels expansion directly for $19.99.
Starting July 19, players who own the above bundles can get started on their journey by locating the Hot Wheels Expedition icon by Mexico’s Gran Caldera (in the north on the Mexico map). Once completed, Hot Wheels Park will be accessible through the Pause Menu or by Fast Traveling to any of the Hot Wheels Park events.
What is free
Fast Traveling in Hot Wheels Park is free and available immediately. Gamers who are new to Forza Horizon 5, once they complete the main game’s initial experience, the Hot Wheels Expedition icon will be added to their map allowing them to travel to the T Horizon Hot Wheels Park.
