Fossil Gen 6 smartwatch is now official in India. The new smartwatch boasts of features like faster charging speed, SpO2 tracking and swim proof design. The smartwatch comes with Wear OS 2 and is compatible with WearOS 3 update. Fossil Gen 6 was launched globally last month.
Fossil Gen 6 price in India and availability
Fossil Gen 6 smartwatch comes in two dial sizes — 42mm and 44mm. Price of the new smartwatch starts at Rs 23,995 and goes up to Rs 24,995. It will be available for sale in the country from September 27 onwards via Fossil online store, Amazon and offline retail stores across the country.
The new Fossil brand Gen 6 smartwatch comes in four colorways for the 44mm case and three colorways for the 42mm case. Pre-orders for the smartwatch starts from September 25 via Fossil website. This will be the first time the product will be available for purchase in India, at the same time as it will globally.

Fossil Gen 6 specifications
Fossil Gen 6 smartwatch is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4100+ processor. It runs on Google’s Wear OS 2. Fossil promises WearOS 3 update for the smartwatch in 2022.
One of the key highlights of the smartwatch is increased battery charging speed and smart battery modes. Fossil says that the Gen 6’’s charging speed is two times faster than the leading smartwatch. It is claimed to charge up to 80% in about 30 minutes. The smartwatch comes with a four pin USB charging with magnetic puck. With the smart battery modes, the smartwatch can last more than 24 hours.
Fossil Gen 6 boasts of an upgraded heart rate sensor. It offers continuous tracking and improved signal accuracy. The company has also added a SpO2 sensor to track blood oxygen levels. The device is compatible with Android and iOS smartphones, and can be used to make/receive calls.
There is also Google Assistant support on Fossil Gen 6. It offers a 1.28-inch touchscreen display and comes with customizable dials and button functionality. Bluetooth 5.0 LE, WiFi, GPS and NFC SE are the connectivity features available on the device. Available sensors include accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, altimeter, PPG heart rate, SpO2, off-body IR and ambient light.
Fossil Gen 6 comes with a swim proof design and is equipped with 8GB storage paired with 1GB RAM.
